My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

TEENY, TINY TUESDAY

Hi Everyone

Happy Tuesday!

Did you have a glorious day of sunshine yesterday?  It was gorgeous here.

Today has started off the same but we are promised thundery rain and hailstorms for later with localised flooding!! .. .. no doubt that will be around the time all the local kids are released from school .. .. and they will all get drenched!

Anyway, round to my teeny, tiny 3.5 inch creation for this week:

This used:

Image:  Stampin' Up! "Serene Silhouettes"
Backing Paper and Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat (sadly no longer trading)
Distress Inks:  Pumice Stone, Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Pearls and Ribbon from my crafty stash box
We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punchboard
and Sketch Number Twenty Six from my little sketch library

If anyone would like to use any of my sketches then please feel free to do so.  They can be found on the "Sketches" tab at the top of my blog.

So that is me for today.

Working with my fingers crossed today as my car has gone in for its MOT and service.  I really don't need any bad news (or big bills) on the car front!!

Pretty bad planning really because my car is in today and Mr Heart's is in for the same on Thursday. We must be their favourite customers this week!!

My dear old Dad used to be able to buy a whole car for the price they charge for a full service nowadays!!  I often wonder what he would make of the world today.

Catch again soon.

Love Jules xx

Gorgeous card Jules. Hope your car went through its MOT. Thank goodness mine went through with no problems last month. Hope all is well with you.

A lovely card Jules - I really like the beautiful stamp and, of course, your great sketch.
I remember my dad being horrified when petrol went up to £1.00 a gallon!

you've managed to include lots of detail on such a tiny card - great new sketch too. Good luck with the cars.

Love all the layering you added and that beautiful sunset background.

Ok have to ask, how do you get your stitching to be exactly in the right part of the corner??? Hope you understand what I am asking. Your card stitching is always perfect and I know you use a sewing machine so how??? Love your placement of the paper, stitching and of course the hearts!

Hi Jules,

Finding some time this morning to catch up with what I've missed on your blog. What a great card, I love the idea of making a 3.5" card, especially using a great sketch! I've made lots of 4" cards in the past, but never to a sketch;...now there's inspiration - thank you!

Hugs,

Gorgeous card Jules, silhouette stamps are my favourite kind (probably because i'm not that good at colouring !) Love the colour scheme and papers too.
