A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A MOTHER'S LOVE

Hi Everyone

Happy Monday!

I hope all you Mums out there had the best Mother's Day you could yesterday.

Some of my day was spent at my Mum's and I picked up our youngest Son on my way home.  He is part of our "bubble" so he was able to sleep over as well.

We got to facetime and play games on-line with the London Kids .. .. .. so it felt like we were all "sort of" together.  A lovely day all in all which I really enjoyed.

This is the card I gave to my Mum .. .. her home is full of succulents and cacti so I thought this image would be perfect for her.

This used:

Image:  Vera Lane Studios "Succulents"
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Backing Paper:  From snippet mountain (that pile isn't going down very quickly even though I am trying really hard)
ProMarkers
Ribbon
My Trusty Sewing Machine

I am back at Mum's again today .. .. it will be interesting to see if all the cards I stood up for her yesterday are still on display.  She isn't one for having them "cluttering the place up" .. .. .. where as mine stay on show for a least a week! Sometimes more!!  LOL!

Enjoy today everyone .. .. .. and stay safe.

What a lovely card for your mum ! We have 2 Mother's Day celebrations in Belgium, one in May (for the Catholics), and one in August (for everyone). I think mothers deserve a lot more days ! Hugs, Enny

Such a beautiful card Jules. I must admit to having my Daughter, son-in-law (both work at home at the moment)and two grandsons in for coffee yesterday morning. They had walked to ours hopeing for a garden visit. It made what was a very difficult day for me this year a little easier.

I'm sure your Mum loved this card made with thought for what she would like to see. Great that you could have some sort of a family get together as well for Mothers' Day.

That's a lovely Mother's Day card especially with the soft colours and the succulents representing her home comforts. Great sentiment.

Its funny how we all have own timescale for cards... I'm with you at least a week, but I remember when my son was at Uni his girlfriend took them down the day after... he was not amused at her efforts to tidy his place, that mistake was never repeated lol x

This is a lovely card. I like to put my cards on display and I DO keep mine out for a while. I feel if people take the time to make them, and "gift" me with their beautiful cards... I should take the time to display them and appreciated them.
