A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

CHRISTMAS TREES

Hi Everyone

I hope this week has been a good one for you.  We actually saw some lovely sunshine here yesterday afternoon .. .. .. but today we are back to rain again.

Yet another Christmas card from me today (apologies to anyone who thinks September is too early but I really do want to have them all finished with by the time December gets here .. .. .. which would be a world first for me!).

This used:

Image and Sentiment:  A very old Woodware Clear Stamp Set "FRS292" Christmas Trees
Tree colouring was paper-pieced using Wow! "Stamp Set 65" Scrunch
Distress Inks:  Peeled Paint, Twisted Citron and Shabby Shutters
White Embossing Powder
Red Marker
Christmas Red Stickles
.. .. .. and nothing seems complete anymore without a bit of stitching .. .. .. even if it is only eight stiches!

So another Christmas card into the box, and a nice pile prepped ready for just putting together.

I LOVE this card, Jules and The stamp is beautiful and you have done a magnificent job with the paper piecing. Great stitching too. I can't believe that the stamp passed me by.
Have a great weekend.
Take care.

Just love those quirky trees - shame it is an old stamp (probably just as well actually) or I might just have been tempted to purchase!!

Another lovely Christmas card Jules, love the scrunched inkiness, what a fabulous look and the embossed sentiment is perfect. It's been cold and grey here so off I set with the dogs wearing t shirt and fleece and blow me, the sun comes out and it's boiling hot!! Can't complain though it was nice to see blue sky again. I'm not particularly happy switching on the lamps at 8pm though!! xx

Definitely not to early at all Jules, making all year takes the stress off of having to make them all in November or December! I love these artsy trees, they are so fun! Good to have another one for the stash! Glad you saw some sun, we are back to sun too for a while. I hope your rain moves back out and the sun makes it's appearance once again. Now I'm off to mow the grass! Hugs, Brenda
