A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

FATHER'S DAY CARD

Hi Everyone

As promised I am a little earlier tonight and no Christmas card!!

Tonight is a card that I have made for my youngest son to give to his Dad (my lovely hubby) on Sunday. My youngest son doesn't live with us anymore :-( but I offered to make him a card and he set me a challenge for what he would like.

Basically - his Dad's football team colours - black, white and golden yellow.. .. .. .. .. though I feel I have invented a new team strip here. I couldn't resist adding a flash of red though as in the referee's "yellow and red cards".

Hopefully my son will approve of his card - if not then it will be another quick make tomorrow LOL!!

So here it is:

This card was made using:

Image: Woodware FRP012 "Footy Boy"
Sentiment: "The Best" was from Woodware FRCL079 "Male Relatives"
"DAD" was from a Great Impressions stamp
Background paper: Funky Fairy - Gorgeous Grids
Punches: Small circle and small label
Brad from my stash box and Promarkers

The Great Impressions stamp is really useful. It comprises of the whole of the alphabet and a few punctuation marks enclosed in circles. These punch out beautifully using the small circle punch.

So that is my post for tonight - Friday again!!! Yay!!!

Don't worry about my hubby seeing his Father's Day card. He won't have chance. It is his "busy in the kitchen" night and the poor chap won't have time to even sit down tomorrow let alone look at my blog. Shame.

Not to worry .. .. he can make up for it on Father's Day and be spoilt rotten.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Love Jules xx
