My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

LIFE IS A JOURNEY

Hi Everyone

I hope you all had a good weekend.

A quick share today which shows a DT creation I made for this month's By the Cute and Girly Challenge (you still have a few days left to take part in this if you get chance).

The theme for the month was "new" .. .. and I made this little creation to mark the beginning of a new venture.

This used:

Backing Paper: Sandylion RMSCB367 "Treasure Map"
Image: Crafty Individuals "Journey Collage"
Sentiment: Computer generated
Stars: Josy Rose Nail Heads
Cord and ribbon from the stash box

I was really pleased with the results of this as it is a bit of a "different" style for me.

I stamped and heat embossed the wording onto the hand cut tag so that I could then rub over the whole tag with metallic waxes to give it an "aged" look. (The heart is a little harder to find - but still there!).

As much as I like the card I produced, if feel the photograph is enhanced by the lovely colour the sky was in the background!!! I love it!!

Thanks for calling by and have a good week everyone.

Love Jules xx

A perfect card and a perfect setting Jules. It's a very artistic photo. I love this CI stamp and the way you've used it is brilliant and yes I did spot the heart.

Hello Jules,

I love your new style its really super. The images are stunning and youve pulled them all together so beautifully to make a very special card.

That sky is just amazing! It's been so grey here - nothing as colourful as you had!

Love this one, Jules. Has a sense of the nautical about it.. That'll be the compass, I guess. LOVE the colours, and the stamped images. GREAT!
