My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

PENNY BLACK CHALLENGE - WEEK 86

Hi Everyone

It feels ages since I last played along with the Penny Black Challenge .. .. .. so I decided it was time to make amends!!

This week the challenge is asking for a creation for "Someone Special".

Here is my creation:

This used:

Image: Penny Black 3611J "x-large love"
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Backing Papers: Pink Petticoat
Nestabilities: Classic Rectangle Small
Martha Stewart Punch: Embossed Zig Zag
Promarkers

The little red dots are the bits left over from using my single hole hand punch which I bought a few weeks ago from a local stationery store. I think it is really designed for using in an office but I have found it really useful and it only cost around £1.50.

A very cold start here in the Midlands this morning. I am going to have to start off for work early as my car is totally frozen!! In fact I am hoping I can open the car door .. .. .. because I can't open my wheelie bin lid .. .. .!!!!

Wouldn't it be awful if my front door was frozen shut too and I had to stay at home and play with my toys all day!!! LOL!!!
Take care everyone and stay safe.

Love Jules xx

Hi Jules, Gorgeous card! Such a cute image and I love the papers. It was also very cold here this morning and I had to leave the car running for 10 mins to defrost.

Gorgeous work Jules! I love that image! I struggled to defrost the car and got to work to find the heating had broken down this morning. 11 degrees in my classroom. we had to shut the school... I'm being drawn to my craft table!!!

Love the card Jules and the image. It's really cute and looks so warm and cuddly. My favourite bit though is how you've echoed the red stitching by edging everything with red. It looks great with the pale gray background paper.

What a great card, Jules. He looks lovely and cosy in his big jumper. Those dots are great, you could make your own card candy with that punch!!
Hope you managed to get unfrozen!
