My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

Good morning everyone

A quick share today to let you see a card I have put together this morning ahead of heading off into the big world! Lots to do tonight so I know I won't get chance later.

My creation uses a gorgeous image that made me daydream about the beautiful lazy summer days that are hopefully going to be ours this year.

It was really weird when I came to take the photograph though .. .. .. the rear of the house is bathed in glorious sunshine but the front of the house looks like it could rain any minute!!! I hope the weather at the rear of the house wins for the day.

Taking the photograph also made me wonder whether I might manage to take any pictures of my cards outdoors this year. I always think that cards look so gorgeous in an outdoor setting but whenever the weather seems bright enough there always seems to be a breeze and I can just imagine my card toppling over every few seconds and me trying to get a quick shot in before the next breeze makes an appearance .. .. .. or chasing it up the garden LOL!!

Anyway .. .. here is my make of the morning

This used:

Image: Hero Arts K5209 "Butterfly Garden"
Sentiment: Hobby Art Clear "CS016D" General Greetings
Backing Papers: Funky Hand "Dreams Come True" CD
Martha Stewart Punch: Doily Lace
Friskars Punch: Ribbon Threader
ProMarkers
Star Dust Stickles
Ribbon and Brads from the stash box

OK then - time to put my "get ready for work" head on now my fun is over.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Love Jules xx

I know what you mean by the 'half and half' Jules. It was the same here about 1.5 hours ago but unfortunately the clouds have won. It hasn't rained yet though!

I shall look on your lovely card for my dose of sunshine today. It's lovely!

Hugs

I really love this, it's not overpowered by lots of embellies, but still enough pretties to look at. Gorgeous.
Happy crafting

It's certainly been beautiful weather hasn't it, a real touch of Summer although the forecast doesn't look good for the weekend, how typical is that!! Your weekend away sounds wonderful, you deserve to be spoilt.
I love your cards as always, so bright and beautiful. It's a real treat to see what you have created.
Hope work has gone well.
Hugs

You have been busy. It's been a bit manic this end too, I thought it would be a good idea to volunteer my services for Amanda's wedding, and although I now know pretty much exactly what I am doing and have most of the stuff ready to go, actually getting them made seems a bit daunting!
On the plus side only 7 more sleeps 'till I can play with my new toys :)
Hope all is well with you.
