My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

INSPIRED BY HERO ARTS

Hi Everyone

Hope all is well with everyone.

Today I have made a few cards inspired by one I saw on the Hero Arts blog  .. .. .. here.

Sadly I don't own any Hero Arts Christmas sentiments (may need to rectify this at some stage) .. .. so instead I computer generated my own.

Here is my creation

This used:

Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat and Funky Hand
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Martha Stewart Punch:  Embossed Zig Zag
Hobbycraft Punch:  Small Snowflake
Buttons and Ribbons from the stash box
Hand cut Christmas Tree
Sewing Machine

This card was good for using up some of the little ribbon scraps.  Any lengths not long enough to tie around a card get put into a plastic bag .. .. this little tree used up some of the plastic bag scraps.

This is another card for my stall on Sunday.

My list is still rather full of creations I was hoping to make and I am starting to run out of time.

Every time I do a craft fair I am asked for cards I haven't got .. .. ..  so I try to make sure these are available for the next one.  Last time there seemed to be a rush on "Get Well" cards and "New Home" cards and I sold out of all of these completely.

This time I am concentrating on Christmas more because even if I don't sell them all this time I have places waiting for some .. .. .. I think all my cardmaking will be Christmas for the next few weeks.

One more full day of production tomorrow and then Saturday to get ready and make a few "last minute" extras.

I am having such fun .. .. .. just sorry I am not visiting.  But I will make amends .. .. .. 4 more evenings and I will be able to catch up with you all.  I can't believe I have this much restraint to stay away !!!  It must be the panic of looking at my "try to make as well" list!!  LOL!!!

Thanks for all your lovely comments.

Love
