My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

NO SPARKLE TODAY!!

Hi Everyone

Friday is here .. .. woo hoo!!!

Not a very exciting Friday weather wise here .. .. in fact it is pretty cold and looks likely to rain very soon.  That will be my fault because I watered all the "weed and feed" into the lawns last night .. .. and it took at least an hour (well it felt like it even if it wasn't).

Best rescue my washing when I finish this!!!

So today's share is one that is devoid of sparkle .. .. which is quite a change for me this week.  It seems to have been a bit of a sparkly week on my blog just recently LOL!!

This used:

Backing Papers:  Aimee Asher
Background Stamp:  Elusive "32531" Script Background
Marianne Design:  Heart Die
Heat it Up:  Seafoam White Embossing Powder
Josy Rose:  Acrylic Stones
Rose and Ribbon from The Stash Box

I somehow don't think anyone will have any problems finding a heart today!!

I had to smile at some of the comments you lovely blog buddies made about my Mum and her Nintendo.

She really makes me laugh and often visits the game shops .. .. part exchanging the ones she has previously bought and not liked and buying new ones.  Her latest fav is Sonic but her all time favourite is the original Mario game.  I bet she wishes the mobile library that visits her carried games LOL!!!

Mum has always liked computer games and a few years ago had to have an enforced break from her Sega because she was getting RSI in her thumbs!!!!!

She is funny.

Anyways, off to the washing line for me now before the rain starts .. .. and of course once I have brought the washing in it will brighten up!

Have a good Friday everyone and a lovely weekend.  I am hoping to get some gardening done.

Love

Hi Jules! OMG! Your Mum is a gamer? That is hilarious! Definitely a good exercise for the mind though ! I was addicted to Nintendo before I had my kiddies, and would play it til the wee hours of the morning! Anyway good for her! Your card is has a vintage romantic vibe and is lovely. Have fun in your garden this weekend. :) Tracy

Your Mum sounds wonderful Jules! I used to be addicted to Mario myself, lol! My mum is 76 and loves the internet and her mobile phone. She has a Facebook account and has us in stitches with some of her posts as she hasn't quite got the hang of it or how to leave comments on our walls. So funny but fab; hope I'm the same when I'm her age.
Your card today is so romantic and really beautiful. I love those hearts.

Pink!! Love pink; and LOVE this card. I really like the script embossed in the white. I've never done that before. I've always used a darker color on dp's. I definitely will try this in the future.

In fact from now on, I'm not going to try and design anymore cards; I'll just pop over here and Case your lovely creations with sorry wannbe's. ;) LOL

Your weather sounds like ours right now; hot yesterday, severe storms last night and very cool temps today. Spring in Texas is very unpredictable.

Hugs,
Carole

Lovely card Jules, so elegant :o) My mum loves her DS, but she's only in her 50s and mainly plays puzzle stuff so it's not quite as impressive as your mum lol! Lisa x

OOOH this is a gorgeous card, I absolutely love those hearts and the rose overlay, wonderful, you are so creative. Always in awe of your work!!!

I mean't to mention yesterday too I thought it was so great that your mum plays computer games at 80, I'm sure that will be my mum in less 20 years, as she told me yesterday she wanted a cricut! and wanted to start her own blog! lol.

What kind of monstor have I created? lol. We both always admire your blog daily. Have a great day!

Gorgeous card, Jules! Good on your Mum! My dad rode Meg's micro scooter at the age of 78 when we took it over one weekend a few years ago. He is now 81 and also plays table tennis weekly with his 80 year old friend - they were asked to refrain from 'smashing it' quite so much a few weeks ago!

I am thrilled to discover your Mum's a gamer at 80!!! I'm a gamer myself, to the amusement of my children's friends and the bemusement of my friends! Go, your Mum!!!

Your card, as ever, is lovely, so elegant. I think I spotted the heart this time....!

Have a great weekend, luv, Mags x
