My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ONE OF MY FIRST STAMPS

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all OK and didn't get blown away by the wind today.  It has been quite rough here.  So much so that I wondered whether the washing that was on my neighbours washing line was actually going to stay pegged on!!

I always say that I love watching washing blowing on a line .. . but decided today that I actually only like watching my own.  It must be something to do with a sense of pride at actually cleaning part of your home (and not using electricity).

So today's share took me ages to colour (not) and features a stamp I bought quite early on in my addiction.  It has been coloured in lots of combinations but never this one before:

This used:

Image:  Hampton Arts Stamps "KN2436" Watermelon Bud
Backing Papers:  Aimee Asher
Martha Stewart Punch:  Embossed Zig Zag

Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Glossy Accents
ProMarkers
Ribbon from the Stash Box

Tee hee!!  I am singing Dirty Dancing songs in my head now because that stamp has reminded me of the line in the film where Baby says "I carried a watermelon".

Have a lovely evening everyone.

Time for me to tuck into a sausage casserole!!

Oh .. just had a really naughty thought.  Katina kindly accepted my little prize for spotting the missing heart .. .. perhaps I should empty all my snippets into a box and send her those .. .. then I won't have any!!!  Tee hee!!  (Only joking Katina .. I wouldn't do that to you).

See you all tomorrow.

Love

Good idea to use one of your oldest stamps to create a card with. We do neglect our old stuff in favour of the newer stash don't we? I really like this card and I love the way you combine two ribbons!

It's funny, I think the only household chore I actually enjoy is putting the washing on the line, it's supposed to be a lovely day tomorrow, so fingers crossed!! :D

LOL No fair. I want to give my snippets away too!! ;)

Love this card Jules. Blue is one of my favorite colors so I'm always attracted to cards using that color to begin with. But really this one is wonderful.

Thank you for your kind comments and thoughts.

Hugs,
Carole

Must admit the thought about passing on my snippets has occured to me a few times as I don't think I will ever use them all up.
Sharing would be good, maybe we should set up a 25g snippet share one a month. LOL

On second thoughts that wouldn't be the answer as we would have even more to deal with. Maybe we need to find newbie craft people who don't have any snippets of thier own and give them away. LOL
