My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

A CARD FOR TWO CHALLENGES

Hi Everyone

I hope you managed to keep dry today .. ..  the rain has been a bit stop start, stop start in my neck of the woods.

My little craft pod overlooks the front of our house and we are sited on a busy main road .. .. today I saw a sight that always pulls on my heartstrings.  Mum's taking their teeny tiny ones to what looked like "induction" days at school ready for starting after after the summer holidays.  Oh they look so tiny and I always feel so sorry for them (both Mum and the little one).  No doubt in a few months I will be seeing the children being "dragged" along because they don't want to go .. .. .. that is one of the drawbacks of having your craft table facing an upstairs window that looks out onto the road!!

Anyway, enough of that .. . here is my share for today .. which is for two challenges.  The Penny Black Saturday Challenge and Sketch N Stash.

Here is my creation:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "2377J" What Creation!
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat
Backing Papers:  Dovecraft "Tea House"
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Woodware Punches:  Daisy
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Diamond Stickles
Brads and Cord from the Stash Box

Penny Black Saturday have a special 3 year birthday this week .. .. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  .. .. and to celebrate they have a blog hop happening.

Sketch N Stash have a sketch for you to follow .. .. surprise, surprise, and here it is in case you want to play along.  Again I flipped it!!

So you know what night it is tonight?  The Apprentice!!  Woo Hoo!!!

So no dilly dallying from me tonight.  Just time for a batth before plonking myself on the sofa.  I will have to link up in a bit and get my blog hop done!!

Have a good evening.

Love

So beautiful Jules..I do love pink! Really cute stamp, fab colouring.
I take my 3yr old for his taster day soon, but thankfully he's really excited! He can't wait to play with all the other children. He really misses his elder siblings while they're at school

A gorgeous card. I love the image and the stitching just finishes it off. Hopefully I can find my sewing machine cable in someone's loft soon. I have the machine, but it isn't much use with no cable.
Daisy has already had 6 half day induction sessions at her new school (she goes to the preschool attached to the school and they arrange weekly sessions) and she loves it there. I can't believe she is old enough for big school though!

Wow Jules your stitching is awesome! Smashing card. I'm not a pink girl but that is one shade I do love.

It was stop start with the rain yesterday wasn't it. I got damp walking the dog, wet taking Mum to the dentist and wet again just going in and out of Asda, lol! At least it wasn't cold. Today is shaping up the same way I think but much cooler :o(.
