My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MR AND MRS

Hi Everyone

Here I am all recovered from my socialising weekend .. .. what a lovely time we had .. .. it was the first time we have had Father's Day all together for a while.  The bands were very entertaining .. and although the Queen tribute band were not brilliant we still enjoyed them.  In fact I think that my Sis and I were singing so loud whilst clearing away that some of the people at the festival must have been able to hear us through the open windows LOL!!!

Big Baby Boy and his wife went home this morning  :-(  They left at 4.00am so that they would be back in London in time to both go to work!!

I waved "bye-bye" and then went back to bed .. .. and surprised myself that I was able to go back to sleep.

So now round to my share for today

This used:

Image:  Stampendous "V126" Happy Couple
Sentiment:  Stampendous "J180" Mr & Mrs
Backing Paper:  Pink Petticoat
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Nestabilities: Large Deckled Rectangles
Crystal Stickles (that aren't quite dry LOL!!)
ProMarkers
Ribbon, roses and pearls from the Stash Box

and that is that!!!

I think some of you were struggling a little with the heart on the "Best Dad" card yesterday.

It was hiding here

Right in the middle of the star.

So I need to begin my mega catch up in blogland.  I am well behind .. .. all this socialising takes its toll you know!!!

Catch you again soon .. .. thank you for all your visits and lovely comments and welcome to my new followers!!  Nice to see you here in my little corner of blogland!!.

Love

Great to hear you had a good weekend with the family. I'm not sure that a tribute band could be anything like as good as Queen - so not surprised you didn't think so. The card is beautiful - love the bright pink and the gem trim on the wedding gown. Elizabeth x

HI Jules!

Family always comes first so please don't apologise for not being around in blogland.
It's good to read you had a great time with your family!
Your card is lovely to look at. I love the combo of a "modern" stamp and some "classic/elegant"looking papers. Your bow and the roses are the cherry on the pie :)
Love and hugs,

Beautiful card Jules, love the understated colour combo and all the little details. I think Spampendous is a seriously underrated brand in the stamping world.
