My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MORE OF THAT SILHOUETTE GRASS !!

Hi Everyone

Well I got my act together and am a bit earlier today .. .. just for a change.

It has been quite a lovely day here weather wise.  Not bright sunshine and no rain .. .. but simply a nice and comfortable day with a little bit of breeze.  This is just perfect for me!!

I hope you have all had a good day doing whatever you needed to do.

For my part I am having a go at a new challenge that I have seen mentioned on a couple of my lovely blog buddy's posts .. .. but have never looked to see what the challenge was supporting.  Well this morning I did actually look .. and now I am going to join in .. enter my card .. . and then post it off to St Luke's in Sheffield for them to raise a few pennies from .. .. I am sure that every little helps .. .. especially in these hard times.

The challenge is St Luke's Charity Challenge and this month their challenge is to create a card using black and white and one other colour.

Here is my creation:

This used:

Image:  Hero Arts "S5316" Silhouette Grass
Border Stamp:  Stampendous!  "SSC094" Love Filled Topper Set
Versafine Onyx Black stamp pad .. clear embossed
Sentiment:  Woodware Clear Stamps "FRCL 128" Circular Greetings
Distress Ink "Spiced Marmalade"
Joy Craft:  Cutting and Embossing Butterflies Die
Carla Craft:  Tag Punch
Sticky backed Pearls

I am nice and early tonight as I am on cooking duties and want to get things sorted as some of what I am making needs to cool in order to go into the freezer.   Nothing worse than not being able to go to bed because food hasn't cooled down enough to freeze!

So off I go on spag bol duty for our evening meal and quiches for the freezer!!  They will make for lazy dinners at a later stage!!

Then it is The Apprentice!!!  Woo hoo!!!

Have a good evening everyone.

Love

Very clever use of colour. I really like how the butterflies 'pop' from the corn.
