My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SKETCH N STASH (PLUS A FREEBIE)

Hi Everyone

A bit of a chilly day here .. .. have had to get my "long sleeves" out again!!!

Never mind, I think the chill is going to be short lived and the weekend could be nice (as you can tell I am ever the optimist).

I am here tonight with my Sketch N Stash Challenge entry

This used:

Backing Papers:  All from Funky Hand CD "Now That's Funky"
Image and Sentiment:  Put together from Woodware Clear Stamps "FRCL037" By The Sea
Nestabilities:  Standard Circles Large, Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Crystal Stickles
ProMarkers
Distress Ink
Cord and charm from the Stash Box

Here is the sketch that I worked to

The challenge also asks what new or neglected stash you have used.  Well my Funky Hand CDs are never neglected .. .. but this little stamp set hasn't seen the light of day for a while!!

I used Bev's lovely cloud tutorial which you can find here to do my sky. There are lots of other little videos to watch too .. .. thanks Bev xx.

Whilst talking of Funky Hand a new challenge started over there on the Funky Fifteenth and Anice has created a beautiful free paper that looks like this....

The theme this time is "Boys, boys, boys" and if you don't already own any Funky products you could use the fab freebie and try to win a download of your choice. You can get to the challenge and the free paper by clicking here.

I'll catch you again tomorrow.

Love

Love it Jules, perfick as they say - but I think you're fibbing when you say 'THE stash box'. With your ton of snippets I just bet you have a cabin trunk or three (or more) full of stash! Di xx

ADORABLE!!! I love that little boat!! This is just wonderful Jules. I really love the added charm, it finishes this off so well. I really love your coloring and the clouds, fabulous. Did you hand drawn the stitching lines? My goodness how do you keep them so straight?

Your cards are always amazing, I wish I had a timbleful of your wonderful talent; then maybe I could make some wow cards. LOL
