A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

NESTIE STORAGE AND THE VERY BEST MUM

Hi Everyone

A nice and early share from the House of Hearts today.

Who knows I might even manage to be posted before my lovely hubby gets home .. .. which is a very rare thing!!

As hubby managed my blind fitting so professionally the other week I have found another little task for him .. .. though it won't involve him balancing on a desk this time!!  LOL!!

First though my little share for today:

This used:

Image:  Trim Craft "Bloom and Grow .. . "Buttercup"
Sentiment:  Woodward Clear Stamps "FRCL078" Female Relatives
Sentiment banner:  Pink Petticoat
Backing Papers:  GCD Tudios "Tea Time"
Martha Stewart Punch:  Daisy
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers and Chalk
Distress Ink
Diamond Stickles
Ribbon from the Stash Box

.. .. and now round to my nestie storage solution.

At the moment I store my nesties in individual plastic CD wallets.  The floppy plastic type not rigid ones.  Then I store the wallets in a box .. .. but this is now proving not to be very practical.

So today I bought this from Dunelm:

A magnetic knife rack.  Just perfect for storing my little nesties on .. .. but I need to find somewhere for hubby to mount it so that if any of my nesties get accidentally knocked off they don't fall behind something I cannot move in a hurry .. ..  mmm .. ...  off to observe and peruse my craft pod for a practical spot .. .. .. ahead of hitting my hubby with the bad news that he needs to get his drill out again!!!  LOL!!

He isn't a natural DIY enthusiast .. .. in fact he isn't enthusiastic about DIY at all .. .. the best bit for him is putting his tools away at the end!! LOL!!

Have a good evening everyone.

I'll catch you again tomorrow.

Love

Gorgeous card Jules, the image is adorable, love the way you made the sky and the text on it.

The storage looks very clever, nesties aren't easy to store, but we love them nevertheless!

Warm hugs
Maarit

Gorgeous card Jules, very pretty in pink. Your husband sounds like mine when it comes to DIY! Let us know how you get on with your magnetic rack as I'm going to be doing out my craft room in a few weeks time and I'm looking for some new storage ideas. Carol x

Hi Jules, sorry I missed you yesterday but my internet was down. I love this card, everything about it is soooo sweet, the image , the colour, the sentiment & the embellies. Good luck with getting hubby to fix your new storage rack. My hubby is definitely not a DIY man so I wouldn't even ask him. lol.

Good luck getting your rack fitted - my hubby doesn't do DIY unless he really has to, and he puts it off for as long as possible first!

Jules,
Great idea for storing your Nesties. I use a two tier cd zip case, the card that the nesties are resting on slides neatly into the bottom cd slot and extends just above over the top cd slot, I can zipper it up so it's secure and flip through the pages to find the Nestie I want to use.
Cheers,
