My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

WELL IT'S NOT A VALENTINE !!

Hi Everyone

Well it's not a valentine card .. .. but it is "very pink" LOL!!!

Hope everyone has had a good day.

I nipped to see a friend quickly this morning as it is her birthday tomorrow and she is going away .. .. we sat and had a coffee in her conservatory and a good old chin wag (and I was wishing that the room belonged to me .. .. .. it would make a fabulous studio).  It was lovely for everywhere to be so bright and to be able to look out and see the gorgeous garden.

The weather whilst I was with her was like a summer's day.  But I leave her, drive the short journey home, get my sandwich and a drink and suddenly the day was as dark and miserable as you could imagine .. .. and it went downhill from there.  By teatime it was tipping it down with rain and it hasn't stopped since!!

What a mixed bag!!

So round now to my share of the day

This used:

Image:  Stampendous! "M214" Bloom Swirl
Backing Papers:  GCD Studios "Soul Food"
Martha Stewart Punch:  Doily Lace
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust
Diamond Stickles
Buttons and ribbon from the Stash Box

So that is me for today .. .. short and sweet .. .. have to run as my supper is ready!!

Hubby's lovely fish, chips, potato fritters and mushy peas!!!  I'm glad he likes cooking .. .. but I don't like the mess he leaves afterwards .. .. sigh!!

Never mind a girl can't have everything.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Love

Love it! Such a bright and cheery card after such a dreary afternoon weather wise. It is lovely to catch up with friends and I too envy your friend her conservatory!

Ahhh the 'what if's' of this world, still, dreams are good.

Cheers,

Hi Jules, we've had snow - the sleety, mushy kind - this morning and blue sky and sunshine this afternoon ... there's no explaining British weather! Another beautiful card - love the stamp - and another of your fab bow. Your supper had me drooling - years ago, many years ago, when I was young my dad had a fish and chip shop in Edinburgh - he made the best chips and batter (to a secret recipe) ever and Tuesday was potato fritter night ... I loved Tuesday nights and so did our customers. I don't know why I wasn't a fat child :)) Thanks for the happy memory trigger. Elizabeth x

Gorgeous card, the printed kraft paper is lovely and I wish I could get a digi version, always easier to sneak a digi pad in than a real one lol. Oh got onto a waffle and forgot to say how lovely the card is lol. Hugs, Amanda x

So beautiful Jules, you always choose the most goegeous mix of papers hun and I love the image. Your bow is so scrummy and the black really makes it all pop. Oh! a conservatory to craft in would be so perfect would'nt it? BTW I ended up doing the bare minimum on the H*******K front, oh well there's always tomorrow... or the day after. Have a fab evening Jules.
