My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ALL FINISHED

Hi Everyone

Well very bright and early for me today .. .. ..  .. but let's face it my share for today was half done yesterday LOL!!

Had to laugh to myself this morning because once I saw my card in daylight everything I tried with it yesterday and rejected looked fine.  Roll on light nights and early mornings again that's all I can say.

So here is the completely finished card .. ..

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "2988H" Caroling Duck!
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat "Tiny Christmas Sentiments"
Backing Paper:  Dovecraft Back to Basics "Vintage"
Cuttlebug Die:  Snowflake
Hobbycraft Punch:  Snowflake
Woodware Punch:  Label
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
My Trust Sewing Machine
Embossing Powder for Snowflakes
Ribbon, Buttons and Button Twine from my Stash Box

I can't believe a card has hung over from one day to the next.  I know some crafters work on lots of projects at the same time, with various creations at various stages of completeness.  But for me I have to start and finish something before I move onto the next project (with the exception of the wedding work of course .. .. the same rule just won't work there).

So Christmas starts for us tonight.  We are off out for a scrummy meal with my Auntie and Uncle.  They take us every year as our Christmas present .. .. and a wonderful present it is too.  A magical evening .. .. .. and when we sit down to our first course we raise our glasses and say "Christmas starts here.  Happy Christmas".

So it is time to go and make myself look presentable.  For some reason it takes longer every year LOL!!

Plus tonight I will be telling my lovely hubby to watch what he does with his wallet!!  I don't want a repeat of last weekend

Have a great evening everyone.

Love

Your cards are always amazing so I can't think of anything that wouldn't have looked good last night! I love this card, the colors, the image, the papers, the design all work so well and look perfect! I'm such an admirer of your beautiful cards. They always look so professional. I want to be just like you when I grow up. lol Ok, I'm grown up and getting old, don't think my cards will ever look as amazing as yours. Have a wonderful "start" to Christmas tonight!!

The finished card looks good Jules but then I knew it would!
I'm the same in that I have to finish one project at a time, usually putting everything away then having to get it all out again for the next thing but that's just the way it is I guess.
Have a lovely meal with your rellies.
Cheers,
Elaine
