A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Well what a day it has been in the old House of Hearts .. .. it started off very badly in that hubby couldn't find his wallet after our night out last night!!

I don't know.  We don't go out for months and then disaster strikes when we do!!!

So we have telephone calls to the police and to the taxi firm who brought us home and to cancel the bank cards that were in his wallet .. .. and we won't mention the cash. We decided it was either on the taxi floor or he had dropped in getting out of the taxi and someone could have picked it up.

The taxi people couldn't get in touch with the driver because he hadn't finished work until 4.30am and would therefore be sound asleep .. .. as he should be.

So frantic searching took place and you wouldn't believe the stupid places we looked.

But thankfully by mid afternoon the taxi people had been able to get in touch with our driver and thank goodness he found the wallet in the back of the taxi and we were able to meet up with the driver (and give him a reward for his honesty!!).  So there are still good honest people in the world!!  Yay!!!!

The day has been thrown completely off course .. .. but eventually I found time (very late in the day) to shuffle my snippets around my craft desk and this is what I came up with for taking to Di's Crafty Snippet Challenge this week.

So that is lazy me for today.

Only just going to eat .. so I will link up in a bit.

I hope your day has been less eventful than ours!!!  But at least ours is ending much better than it might have done!

Love

Thank goodness the taxi driver found your husband's wallet. I suppose the card cancellation will still have to go through though. I was in a similar position just after I moved here. The first time I went shopping in town I got my purse nicked and I had just drawn out a wad of cash too.
Your card is lovely - I really like the central element with the silver thread.

Jules, you are true crafter to create such beauty after the chaotic day you had! And, mind, simply made by shuffling your snippets around!

After your day, I'd have been slumped in a corner of the sofa, slurping an adult beverage! But it was a delight to read about the happy return of the wallet!

Gosh wasn't Hubby the lucky one! Something like this happened to me only to find it jammed under our car seat and the only way we could get it out was to take it to the garage to dismantle the seat etc because of the air bags. Fortunately it was a company car so we did not pay the astronomical garage costs. I think they made something up! Oops!
Anyhoo I digress. Fabulous card there and I am really loving these colours!
