My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

VERY LATE SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Happy Saturday!!

Here are my entries for Pixie's Snippet Playground Challenge .. .. I didn't get chance to enter last Sunday as we were in London (where did that week go?!?).

So I am running there now with minutes to spare and will come back later to write the rest of this post . .. I have to be somewhere special very soon and need to slap my make-up on.

Will fill you in later.

.................................................................................................................................................................

Back again to let you know what I used on my snippet makes above.

Images:  Papermania "Hampstead Collection Clear Stamps" and Penny Black "3741K" Filigree Tree
Sentiment:  Computer Generated and Pink Petticoat
Backing Papers:  Papermania "A Silent Night"
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
My Trust Sewing Machine
Cord from my Stash Box

Hopefully I will get chance to play along properly tomorrow in my usual super lazy Sunday mode.

Quite a few of you have been asking how I am getting on with my new Cuttlebug.   I am happy to report that I love it!!  It works just as well as my old one .. .. with the exception of the handle.  That is taking some getting used to.  The old one was fixed in place but this one is hinged so that it can fold into the body of the machine for storage.  Personally I would like something to allow me to lock/unlock the hinge.. .. but we can't always have everything we want can we?  LOL!!!

So where was I rushing off to this morning at the speed of light after hastily posting my snippet makes?

Well today is an extra special day in the House of Hearts.  Mr & Mrs Heart have been married for a whole 39 years today and we were treated to a champagne breakfast by my Auntie and Uncle.  So a gorgeous breakfast at the hotel where I do my wedding fayres, and a stroll through the gardens afterwards in beautiful sunshine.  I felt like Royalty!

A far cry from the weather the day we got married.  It was a bitter cold day then and it had been snowing in the week leading up to our special day.

I don't know.  All those years ago and yet it feels like it was yesterday!!

I feel so lucky to have met my Mr Right so early and to be able to share my life with him for all of this time.

So a romantic dinner for two tonight and that will be the end to a lovely day.  Anniversary calories don't count do they?

See you tomorrow.

Love and hugs

Two super cards! Think I was even later squeezing through the gates before they closed. I've also got some of that Christmas paper which I get out every year then put away again as it doesn't seem to go with anything, but love what you've done!

Wow the birthday card is stunning, I just love it and if I remember I am going to copy, pinch the idea, case this card or whatever else you want to call it. I will DSB flowers though.
Fabulous Christmas card too.
My Mum and Dad got married on the 29th March.
What a lovely day you have had, and the sun shone too, can't get much better than that, would you please tell your Aunt and Uncle that I will have been married 45 next month, I do love a nice breakfast!!!
I know my Hubby won't even remember and I deliberatly don't remind him just to make him feel bad, lol.
