My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HOW ABOUT A HUG

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday?

How about a hug?  Well you can have one if you want but I don't think there will be many takers .. .. other than Mr Heart.

I think I was rather heavy handed with the garlic in the spag bol last night .. .. and coupled with garlic bread .. .. well lets just say I am pleased I am not meeting up with anyone today otherwise I would have to chomp on a packet of extra, extra strong mints .. .. LOL!!

So a fast share today because everything was sitting ready and waiting.  The image was already coloured and sitting in my "waiting to be put on a card" box and the papers were on my desk waiting to be put into the snippet drawers.

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "1736K" How About a Hug!!
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Vintage Rose" (sadly no longer available) and Pinstripes
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and that is it.

I did make a "Get Well Soon" sentiment for putting on this card but decided I wouldn't add it and instead would just put a plain insert inside. That way it can be used for lots of reasons .. .. get well, thank you, birthday, well done, sorry I smell of garlic  (only joking I don't think anyone would send a card saying that .. . would they? ...LOL!!).

Enjoy your day - I hope you find a bit of crafty time all to yourself.

Love

It's lovely to come and visit you Jules and what a gorgeous card you have on display! I'm slightly wistful that it isn't a 'sorry I smell of garlic' card but then garlic and cats are not the best combination! Thank you for your lovely message and you're right, I haven't stopped smiling! Vicky x

I think I'll pass on the hug, Jules, but I like your card - lovely PB topper and pretty colours. I like the stripe paper with the floral - they look just right together. Hugs (there I go contradicting myself) Elizabeth xx

Well I am a garlic lover too, and just had some garlic crackers for lunch, so I will take you up on that hug cause I won't notice your garlic. lol Love, love your card Jules! It is just adorable, that cat just can't get any cuter-love his expression and I love the way you colored him. I also love the papers you have used with him. I don't know how you pick the perfect papers for each card but you do. I also love the stitching on this card. Hugs, Brenda
