My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

THURSDAY'S CHILD

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday!

I am sharing my Thursday's Child card today .. .. which uses an image that always makes me smile and think of my eldest Son (the London Kid).  One year on holiday he took part in a fancy dress competition where we dressed him up as a magician .. .. I don't remember his outfit looking this good though.  There was a lot of black and pinned on stars.  LOL!!  Funnily enough he was a Thursday child too.

Anyway, here is my creation:

This used:

Image:  Lili of the Valley:  Little Wizard
Sentiment:  Computer Generated using font "Mister Sirloin"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat (sadly no longer trading)
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Nestabilities:  Circles and Scalloped Circles
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Charm and Cord from my crafty stash box

I will now apologise for my creation because not only are the papers no longer available but when checking for the name of the image I see that the cute Little Wizard is no longer available from Lili of the Valley either.

So a completely out of date card with hardly any parts of it still available to purchase .. .. but at least it shows I still love my purchases of the past .. .. and to be honest I have invested far too many pennies into my stash not to continue to use them.

I'll catch you again tomorrow.

Love Jules xx

Gorgeous card Jules. I wish that image was still available (will have to stalk ebay for it)! This is one of my favourite colour combinations, a truly 'magical card' xx

Love this card Jules. I too have lots of discontinued stash, they're often too nice to use so get kept for ages!

Maybe the contents are no longer available ... BUT the whole design is fantastic and bang up to date.
I am not over the fact LOTV dropped all their wonderful images.
Another of your wonderful designs, love it.
