A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

WHITE CARD WEDNESDAY

Hi Everyone

Happy Wednesday .. .. another lovely day with some beautiful sunshine!

It is surprising how the start of spring lifts your spirits and gets you excited about the thought of summer.  (But we won't mention how grubby the windows suddenly look though LOL!!).

So Wednesday is the day I try and use up some of my offcuts of white card .. .. and today I took inspiration from the CAS Mix Up Card Challenge where the compulsory elements this month are to include "Stamping and Smooching" on your card and for the "free element" I included some stitching and used a bit of modelling paste through a stencil.

It is the first birthday for the challenge .. .. and it doesn't seem two minutes since Loll and Bonnie announced it starting.  I love to play along when I can because it makes you think a little differently, and there are always lots of links for learning the technique of the month.  Well worth checking out if you haven't yet played along.

Here is my creation for this month:

This used:

Image:  Lavinia Stamps "Zen Butterfly"
Sentiment:  Computer Generated using font "Sweetheart Script"
Colourcraft Brusho Set (Sorry but I can't tell you what my Brusho colours were.  I got a little carried away and ended up with a sprinkling of quite a few before I spritzed them and "smooched" my card through them).
Tim Holtz Stencil:  "THS023" Woodgrain
Winsor & Newton:  Modelling Paste
Nestabilities:  Classic Circles and Scalloped Circles
Die'sire Dies:  Scalloped Tags
ProMarkers
Ribbon and a button from my crafty stash box
Crystal Glamour Dust
Glossy Accents
My Trusty Sewing Machine

.. .. and that is crafty me for today.

Take care and hopefully I will be around tomorrow with another creation.
