My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

GET FUNKY!!

Good morning everyone (just thought I would write that because it is very rare for me to be here first thing in a morning LOL!!!)

Today it is my turn to post on the Get Funky! Challenge blog.  As a DT we all post on different days of the month so that you don't get bombarded with loads of inspiration in one big dollop (is that a real word?).  Instead we trickle our creations all the way through the month.

This month we are all working to a sketch that the lovely Anice has provided for us.

Here is what I created:

This used:

Backing Papers:  Funky Hand CD "V.Funky
Woodware Punches:  Daisy
Cricut Cartridge:  George and Basic Shapes
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  Swiss Dots
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads

I love the green and lilac papers on this .. .. it looks embossed but it isn't.  This is how it prints.

No prizes for finding the heart today .. .. it looks a bit like a burnt biscuit doesn't it!!!  LOL!!!

Here is the lovely sketch that Anice provided

I hope you pop over to the Get Funky! Challenge blog and catch up with what all my teamies having been doing this month and if you decide to join in that would be extra cool and funky!!!!  There is a free paper over there for you to use if you haven't got any Funky stash at the moment .. .. who knows you might win a download of your choice!!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Back tomorrow with my snippets and my playmate roll call.  Oh I am meeting so many lovely folk through my snippets!!

Love
