My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

LIGHT THE NIGHT

Hi Everyone

Well a wet and windy day here today .. .. and even a tad cold!!!   Long sleeves have been out today in the House of Hearts.

Let's hope these louts on the streets are nesh and don't want to go out in the cold tonight!!!

I am just so shocked, and even scared, by what I am seeing and hearing .. .. and at the same time touched by the willingness of people to clear up the trail of mess and destruction that is being left behind.  I actually felt sorry for the Prime Minister today .. .. I wouldn't want his job no matter how much they paid me!!

Anyway, I will drop the subject as I could go on for ever !!

Here is my share for today:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3687K" Light the Night
Sentiment:  Woodware Clear Stamps "FRCL128" Circular Greetings
Backing Papers:  Aimee Asher
Woodware Punch:  Daisy
Nestabilities:  Scalloped Circle
Martha Stewart Punch:  Traditional Scallop
ProMarkers
Fruit Punch Stickles
Ribbon and brad from the Stash Box

Hopefully I will get time for a bit of blog hopping later .... but it is a tad busy here at the moment (all good but busy).

Catch you again tomorrow

Love

Hi Jules, yes long sleeves and, dare I say it, socks today!!! Who'd believe it's August!

Beautiful, girly card tonight and she 'lights up the night' in such a pretty way unlike the scenes across the country. I'm praying it's quiet tonight - it's getting far too close to where my son lives.

Hi Jules, FAB card! Love this image and gorgeous papers.

This rioting is getting very scary now :-( So glad to hear your son is safe ... how worrying it must have been for you until you heard from him. I live in rural Norfolk so haven't been affected by this but I still find it very upsetting.

p.s I echo your thoughts on the mindless rioting that's going on and the positive actions of those voluntering to clean up. It really is disgraceful what's going on.

Wet and windy here today too ... I was going to go to a Tai Chi taster day but the constant rain put paid to that.
Lovely card Jules - this is another great stamp from Penny Black and the backing paper you've used could have been made for it.
