My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

PIXIE'S CRAFTY SNIPPETS - CHALLENGE 2

Hi Everyone

Just in case anyone missed it over Christmas / New Year the keys to the snippet playground have now passed over to my lovely blog buddy Di.

My year of the snippet challenge was complete and rather than let is disappear Di very kindly offered to keep it going .. . woo hoo .. .. good news for me because I still have lots of snippets to use up!!

My make today is for Di's challenge .. .. but it turned into a double challenge.

Baby boy came for his evening meal and whilst here asked if I had a card suitable for his friend .. .. of course my boxes are nearly empty due to Christmas and wedding work so I just knew I needed to make one.  Note to self .. .. get those boxes filled!!!

So a snippet card suitable for a 30+ year old male who is into music as much as my Son.

Well here we go:

This used:

Image: Inkadinkado "98693" Rock Star
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Backing Paper: DCWV "Rock Star"
Sizzix Die: Stars #2  (I don't know why I bother putting this away as it is always out)

White and black Gel Pens
Cord from the Stash Box

Thankfully my Son was happy and hopefully "Miss Di" will be happy too!!!  LOL!!!

So this card is being entered into Pixie's Crafty Snippets Challenge No. 2  ... .. if you fancy playing along it is great fun.  The idea being to use up your leftovers (ie snippets).  No cutting into fresh sheets of card .. use those pesky bits that get let that are too good to throw away.

No prizes .. .. just the satisfaction of using up those leftover pieces.

I'll be back again tomorrow bright and early as Happy Handy Hippo Day returns after the Christmas break.  Quite a nice project to show you tomorrow .. .. even if I say so myself.

Don't forget the ProMarker giveaway from Handy Hippo ends at midnight tonight. If you want to try your luck then you need to get your skates on .. .. .. the post you need is here.

See you tomorrow and enjoy what is left of the evening.

Love
