My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

I'VE STARTED .. .. BUT I WON'T FINISH !!!

Hi Everyone

Flying by the seat of my pants today.

People arriving in around 30 minutes and I still need to make the place look decent and clear the dining room table!!!

So tonight's share is an "under construction" jobbie

Tee hee!!!  Yes this is as far as I have got with today's share.

But I will finish it tomorrow and post the completed creation then I promise.

I have been desperate to have a play with this black lace I bought the other week.  I actually bought it to make some wedding samples (I know .. .. black isn't everyone's colour of choice for a wedding but you would be surprised how many people head straight for the black and white samples when we do a wedding fayre!!!).  But this isn't a wedding stationery sample.

So just time to find the bottom of the washing up bowl .. .. make myself look presentable and clear that table!!

Thank goodness food went into the slow cooker earlier today that's all I can say!!

Have a great evening everyone.

Love

Hi Jules,

There should be something like a pause button where we could push it to gain a precious hour or two to do craft. Where nothing else intrudes on our solitude and creativity. Sheer Bliss.

I love the black and white theme for a wedding, it's the colours the bride and groom traditionally wear.

Cheers,

Hi Jules, so far this card is looking good - love the lace. I almost got married in black and white - thought it would look fab on a non-traditional age bride like myself - but lost the courage to go for it. Thank goodness for slow cookers - best gadget in the kitchen :) Hope all went well. Elizabeth x

I hope you've had a good evening, can't wait to see your completed 'share'.

What you said about black-and-white being popular made me think of a gorgeous b&w striped number worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film of 'My Fair Lady' which looks sooo elegant! Mind, she'd make a bin-bag look elegant! A b&w wedding would look stunning!

(And sympathies to Mr Heart on Derby losing to Leicester tonight.)

much love, Mags B xx
