My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MR FIX IT

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a good day .. .. and not got caught up in too much rain.

Definitely April showers in my neck of the woods all day .. .. but with little bursts of sunshine in-between.  What a late friend of mine used to call "growing weather".  I always think of him even more come April.  He was such a lovely man.

Anyway, round to my share for the day .. .. no flowers or fancy bits tonight because I have had a request for a load of male cards .. .. so it may be a week of those I'm afraid!!  Eeekk!!  No pretty bits!!! LOL!!!

So here we go:

This used:

Image:  Lili of the Valley
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat
Backing Papers:  Nitwits
Fiskars Punch:  Threading Water
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Cord and Brad from the Stash Box

I hope you all have a good weekend and that you find a bit of crafty time for yourself.

Fish and chip night for me so I am off to start banging my knife and fork up and down on the table mat as I think hubby has just about finished cooking the culinary delights!!  LOL!!!

Everyone always comments on how lucky I am to have a hubby that will cook.  This is true.  I am lucky .. .. and I know that I am .. .. but he does make a heck of a mess!!  Come tomorrow I will find mushy peas splattered all over the cooker top and I have even been known to find them down the cupboard doors .. .. and I won't mention  the floor.

But having said that it always tastes good so a girl must be grateful.

Catch you again tomorrow.

Love

Love the male themed card Jules, the image is another great LOTV?

I managed to get four loads of washing dried before the rain struck!

I too have had fish and chips cooked by hubby for tea but not mushy peas just the good old garden sort!

Have a great evening, take care xx

Now that paper couldn't be any more perfect! Fantastic guy card Jules. :-) You are one lucky duck if your hubby cooks. Mine does it occasionally and I've never been able to figure out how most of the pepper shaker contents ends up around the stove top instead of in the pan. LOL Being messy must be part of being a male cook. Hope you enjoyed your dinner. Hugs!

I think its wonderful that you will be doing male cards, I need all the inspiration I can get. Love this! Great background paper and I love that image. I know he is taking a brake but it makes me think of the sign in Jim's work shop that said 'If all else fails read the directions.'

Hi Jules, a fab card for a fella & such a cute image. I love the Nitwits papers you use. I won't let my hubby near my kitchen 'cos of all the mess he creates but bless 'im he was a chef for 25 yrs so he deserves a rest!

Fab card - the papers are perfect for that image :o)

Hubby does most of the cooking in our house, and just like you I know it's great... but the amount of stuff he breaks and all the mess lol! Hugs, Lisa x

Ahh Jules, my hubby is exactly the same! His food tastes divine, but what I could make in one saucepan, he makes in 5, using every cooking implement out of the drawer and splatting bits everywhere! Sooo frustrating! So I feel your pain hehe. Cute teddy builder ;) M x
