My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUPER EASY HEART TO FIND TODAY

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a good Saturday.

Mine has been good .. .. but as always has flown by far too quickly.

We have just waved some friends off after a lovely quick catch up .. .. they now have nearly three hours of driving ahead of them to get home again.

We on the other hand are looking forward to an evening of relaxation, Chinese spare ribs and a bottle of red!!

My card this evening was inspired by a picture I found when I did a Google image search.

Here is my card:

This used:

Backing Papers:  DCWV "Wedding Prints Paper Stack"
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Nestabilities:  Heart
Martha Stewart Punch:  Doily Lace
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  Swirls
Woodware Punch:  Heart
Pearls, gems and ribbon from the Stash Box

The image actually linked to blog .. .. which I was really happy to find.  You can find the post with the inspiration card on here at Squirrel Nuts Blog.

I have loved this DCWV paper stack but sadly have used the last scrap of the script paper on the lower part of this card :-(  .. .. .. shame.   It was my favourite sheet in the stack.

OK .. .. time to switch the oven on and get those spare ribs cooking.

Love

Ahh wow, a fabulous idea. I love the tux heart - how have you made the black shiny? It looks a bit like clear embossing, but I can't quite make it out! M x

Hi Jules.. so is the white paper stuck over the black? perhaps that's a stupid question.. but it looks very seamless in the picture!!! It's gorgeous anyway. Might make it in my wedding colours for Mr M on our next wedding anniversary! M x
