My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUNDAY SNIPPET

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and that you got to see some sunshine.

We had a great night out with friends last night .. .. then a wedding stationery pick up this morning and a quick play with my snippets before we headed off to the local tip with some of the rubbish we have been clearing out of our roof space.

Hubby has a habit of keeping the boxes of anything electrical we buy in there .. .. just in case we need to return something .. .. .. but some of the boxes up there are for equipment that we parted with years ago!!!!  I feel certain we could have made a child's wardrobe out of one of the boxes it was so big.

So as part of the Spring clean and de-clutter that we desperately need we are going to try and make one trip to the tip each week with rubbish from either the garden, the shed, the garage, the house or the roof space!!  (Best get a lock on my craft pod door to keep hubby out  .. .. definitely no rubbish in there!!!).

Anyway, round to my snippet make of the day for taking over to the playground for sharing in Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge.

This week I raided the brown and pink drawers for my snippets .. .. both of which are a bit too full!!!  Surprise, surprise!!

As always Sunday's are my lazy day so no listing of ingredients etc .. .. but if anyone wants to know what anything is then just ask away.

Off to the kitchen to perform my culinary duties next and then a long overdue blog hop!!!  Woo hoo!!!  What a lovely Sunday treat for me!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Love

lovely card Jules - great use of 'snippets' - can never use mine up cos they're always the wrong shape/size colour - no imagination that's me! x

Oh Jules, are you absolutely sure your hubby isn't Len's long-lost twin? Guess what, boxes flying down from the loft this weekend, kept for exactly the same reasons! All flattened and off I went to the recycling place nearby :) Apparently, some of them were over 20 years old and the electrical whatevers that came in them had long been gone :)

Absolutely fabby card - I love all the shades of brown and pink. Two questions, where do you get that gorgeous twine - love the way you use it. Plus, when can I came and raid your snippets please? :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend - and thanks so much for your lovely playground comment today. To be honest, I get as much fun as anyone out of it :)

Love

Di

Hi Jules, gorgeous card, love the mix of pink and brown and the butterfly and flower embellishments are just beautiful.

We've been the to dump today too - for us it was the garden that was getting the spring cleaning treatment. It's downright chilly outside now so no surprise to see that the motorway information sign was flashing up that snow is expected!

Hope you're warmer where you are. Elizabeth x

A fantastic birthday card. The tag tied around the ribbon really caught my eye....I love sewing on cards. Something I should do, but never seem to. Great use of snippets. I'm hoping to get a card made this week, at the rate I'm going, I'll be sitting outside the playground blowing bubbles... I've got a case of the lazies.... Have a great week....See you Wednesday.

We have just done that job, getting rid of boxes for things we got rid of long ago. We are now great friends with the staff at the tip. We have taken so many loads down there, and could still take the same amount again without making a difference to the house. Thank you for your visit and I am glad to report that the bees are diminishing and Flash is now running round like an idiot again. have a good week. xx Maggie #7
