My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

AM I LATE OR EARLY?

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday .. .. but who stole Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday?!?!?!?

This week has just flown by!!!

So I am not sure if I am late (because I didn't manage to post anything yesterday) or early for today?  But either way I am here now with a little share. This is quickly becoming one of my favourite Penny Black floral images.

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "4239K" Scented Message
Sentiment:  Personal Impressions "Everyday Words - Happy Birthday"
Backing Papers:  Papermania "Hampstead Collection"
Distress Inks:  Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet, Old Paper, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint
My Trusty Sewing Machine
X-Cut Corner Rounder Punch
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
White Gel Pen
Button and Ribbons from the Stash Box

I had almost forgotten how much I enjoy painting with distress inks.

Time now for a quick coffee before getting settled into a huge stack of wedding work.

Hopefully then chance for a blog catch up tonight.

Have a great day!!

Love

Gorgeous card Jules! The heart was a toughy on this one but I think I found it - inside one of the squares just above the ribbon?

Hi Jules, thank you for leaving a comment on my blog.
Beautiful card as always, I have never painted with my distress inks, so might give that a go. Thanks again, Linda x

Wonderful card Jules, I adore that image and the colouring with DIs is divine! Snigger, I cheated and hopped back today to see if anyone said where the heart was 'cos I felt I'd be such a Dumbo saying yet again I couldn't find it :) You're getting sneaky - tee, hee.

You're right, this is a lovely stamp! What a lovely card, too! (Though for the life of me I can't find the Heart. Excuse me while I fetch my Deerstalker and a Sherlock Holmes Patented Heart Investigation Magnifying Glass!) ;)

Have a good weekend!
