My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

WELL I DID LIKE IT !!!

Hi Everyone

Happy Sunday.

I have had an early play with the overflowing snippets and  a first play with the Tim Holtz Sewing Edge Die this morning and I was well chuffed with what I had made .. .. .. until I showed my lovely Hubby!

He looked at it .. .. said "ahhh" .. .. studied it for a while and then added "is there almost too much on it?".

Now I don't love it quite so much :-(

Perhaps I have gone a bit OTT  .. .. .. although I did reply by saying "That's because you don't like sewing"  LOL!!

But .. .. I am sharing the overloaded snippet creation anyway .. .. and also entering it into Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge

In normal lazy Sunday mode I don't list my ingredients .. .. but if there is anything you want to know just ask away!

There have also been a few problems in finding hearts this week so I will put a few people out of their misery whilst I am here.

These are the hearts from Wednesday

This is the heart from Friday

Always easy when you know where they are LOL!!!

Have a good Sunday everyone and I wish you all a good week to come.

Love

But if you were going to remove something . . . the ribbon bow might be easiest!

Sorry Mr Always With A Heart, but you're going to be outnumbered as I suspect most of us will love it! I think all the sewing bits on it work really well together.

The thing about husbands is they can be wrong. And on this occasion, I think he is and I think you were right to start with because I absolutely LOVE it. I've seen the TH edge used before but not like this. I LOVE how you have used individual bits of card stock and mounted them over the die so that the bobbin and scissor blades are silver and your scissor handles are coloured and you've used real buttons and thread on your spool. It's DIVINE, girlfriend. Husband is defo wrong! Hugs, Lesley

Jules, while this may be a little more than your usual CAS style, it definitely isn't OTT. It's gorgeous, very cute way to hide the heart too.

Our Hubbys are always our worst critics aren't they. I love it, so don't take it to heart!!!
Glad you had a great time at Sally's get together. I'm sorry I missed it but hopefully there will be a next time.

I like it! (I am a sewer - that doesn't look right - a seamstress!) Mind, my hubby hates all my cards, if they're the least bit cute he pulls an agonised face, he is such a rat-bag!

I like the heart on the scissors a lot!
