My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

CRUISING

Hi Everyone

I hope you have had a good day .. .. I am back round to creating in the old craft pod after a day of cleaning and clearing up yesterday!!

Still plenty to do on the sorting out front but even more needs doing on the creating front so I called a halt to being Mrs Mop and got back to doing what I enjoy most  .. ..  playing with ink, paper and rubber stamps LOL!!!

Here is one of today's creations which I thought I would share with you

This used:

Image:  Stamps Happen "50074" Cruising
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Backing Paper:  Funky Hand "Happy, Happy Birthday"
Josy Rose:  Star Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Crystal Stickles
Cord from the Stash Box

So now for a quick round up of the wedding fayre my lovely Sister and I did on Sunday.

We had another brilliant day.  We met quite a few "happy couples" .. .. each with their own romantic story .. .. and each with their own very different plans for their happy day.

What was extra special was that three out of the five brides I am currently working for came to see the exhibition and to have a chat.  That was just so lovely!!

But as well as current and potential customers we also met quite a few new exhibitors.  The lovely lady who sat next to us was exhibiting the most colourful and beautiful cupcakes you could imagine.  We had a couple of "little samples" as the show was about to start and then afterwards got to taste a whole cupcake with our cup of tea .. .. and boy were the cakes delicious!!

Here is a little picture of part of our stand.  As you can see it was a beautiful day weatherwise.  Thankfully it was nice and bright as we had a powercut part way through the afternoon.  OK for us but not so good for those that were relying on electricity to power their presentations :-(

You can see some of my wedding stationery and also some of my lovely Sister's bridal bags in the picture.  I did photograph the other tables but the sun made them not too good for showing here .. .. but they are a lovely memory for my Sis and I.

Then to finish off for today.. .. great news on my website.  My new version is now finished and working and you can find it here if you fancy a little nosey.  It all clicked over yesterday morning.  Woo hoo!!!

I was going to have a photo gallery attached to the website that I could add my own photographs and text to .. .. but when things went a bit pear-shaped here in the House of Hearts on the job front I decided to put that part on hold and simply created a new blog and attached this instead.

I would like to say many thanks to Shirley .. .. I used Shirley's tutorial instructions for adding all the additional tabs .. .. I wouldn't have known where to start without her (just scroll down to find the instructions if you fancy having a try).  Thanks Shirley, you are my little lifesaver xxx

So that is me for today.

We are meeting up with my Auntie and Uncle later so I thought it best I appear here a little earlier than normal!!

Have a great evening everyone.  I have been trying really hard to catch up with everyone after my lack of commenting last week but am not convinced all of my comments have been registered .. .. and tonight I keep getting an error message.  Oh well I will keep trying!!

Love

Hi Jules, I'm so glad you had a great time at the Wedding Fayre. Your stand looks fabulous as I knew it would. I'm trying hard to catch up so I can get back into a more normal routine for a little while. Mind you after a phone call from my DD five minutes ago, it will all go haywire again the last week of the month because I have a little visitor coming to stay (nursery half term) while Daddy is away on a training course and Mummy needs to go to work. There'll be no crafting, blogging or blog hopping that week I bet, lol!

Love the birthday card btw. I was going to say great male card but my DD's female friend has just passed her test to ride the 'big' bikes so she can keep up with her hubby!

Hugs

The new website looks fantastic - as did your stall at the fair. I always thought the best pitch to have was next to a cake stall - the free samples always keep the grooms hanging around I find!

Your bike card is brilliant - I must look out for that stamp its so useful.

Incredible card! What a fabulous image for a biker (or an ex-biker like me -we had dry rot and I had to sell my cute Honda 125 to pay for repairs, still sad after 30 years!!!)

what a wonderful display in your photo, too! I'm keeping everything crossed for your wedding business!

luv, Mags x
