My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

WHERE DID TODAY GO?

Hi Everyone

I hope that your day has been good.

Mine has flown by on wedding work and a bride came to sign some samples off this evening and that was it .. .. blink and the day was nearly gone!!!

Time for a quick share though that used an image I coloured yesterday .. .. simply because I had to!!

As always I am always mega behind with trends and have only just invested in a few Saturated Canary images.  (Is it just me or does everyone picture a very wet Canary sitting on a perch looking all bedraggled when they read that name LOL!!).

There are some gorgeous ones available .. .. and here is my first:

This used:

Image: Saturated Canary
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat
Backing Papers:  My Mind's Eye - free with a magazine ages ago
Martha Stewart Punch:  Embossed Zig Zag
Nestabilities:  Classic Circle and Scalloped Circle
Diamond Stickles
ProMarkers
Chalk

I can't wait to colour her again in different colours!!!

Many thanks for all your lovely comments on my post of yesterday.  Quite a few of you asked where the image and backing papers had come from.

Well .. .. the digi image was one I bought in 2009 from a place called Sketching Stamper but I cannot find the bluebell image.  I have emailed Christine Dark (who did the original image) to see if it is available anywhere and I will let you know if it is .. .. .. and the backing papers were snippets of Laura Ashley pages.

OK .. .. so that is me for today .. .. time to jump in the bath now.

Catch you again tomorrow.

Love

Heh Jules

It's been a bit of a manic Monday in our house too, three loads of washing done and dried but it wasn't without a near disaster! Managed to put a load of clothes on a 90 degree wash, oops.

Your card it fantastic, love the colours and image. I'm off now to google those wet canary's as I've never heard of those lol

Enjoy your bath, Rach xx

Hi Jules, it's lovely to hear from you and believe me, I know just how it feels to not know what day it is or what my name is sometimes! I've enjoyed browsing back through your wonderful cards and you really do make some gorgeous ones - I loved the bluebells and the wedding card with the bride and groom hearts. Today's card is wonderful too and perfect for a birthday girl with a sweet tooth (er... that's all of us isn't it?!) Take care, Vicky x

Aw Jules! Such a cutie but cheeky card here. And I recognise some of those papers. Lush!
As for your comment, thanks. I am sure your son wouldn't mind as it only cost £1!! It will be seen more now than it would be played as we don't have a record player any more!! LOL!

This is a new name on me, Jules. I wondered what was coming as I read your post, but she's great. Reminds me of someone sitting not a million miles away, lol!!
That bluebell image from your last post is a real beauty, the Spring flowers are looking beautiful aren't they, just hope this unsettled weather doesn't spoil them.
Hope you had a lovely Easter.

I LOVE this Jules! I'm a big fan of saturated canary, haven't bought any images yet as I think my colouring would ruin the pretty images but will definitely be investing in some in the future! Gorgeous card and lovely bright fun colours too.
