My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HOPE YOU ARE PURR-FECTLY WELL

Hi Everyone

Happy Friday!!  The weekend is upon us .. .. yet again.

My apologies for my lack of blog posts and blog visiting recently.  It has been one very hectic (but enjoyable) week .. .. which has flown by in the blink of an eye.  Admit it .. .. you thought I had simply melted away in all that super warm sunshine!!!  LOL!!

I have had my crafty fingers working on a few projects that I am unable to share at the moment .. .. and at the same time have been making the most of having a Mum who is now happy to be a social butterfly and let me take her out into the fresh air.

We are getting quite proficient with the old wheelchair now .. .. but pushing one does make you see people in a different light.  Some who go out of their way to help and others who clearly see you as a hindrance .. .. I mean what a cheek that we should be wanting to use the automatically opening doors at the same time as someone who is quite capable of pushing open and walking through the next door along!!  LOL!!

I have also been having a play with a few of the new images that the lovely Sally-Ann from DigiStamp Boutique has released recently .. .. this is the first one I would like to share .. .. .. I will share the others another day.

This used:

Image and Sentiment:  DigiStamp Boutique "Sketchy Cats"
Backing Paper:  Nitwits Collection "Me-Wow Too"
Spellbinders Nestabilities:  Classic Circle and Scalloped Circle
Martha Stewart Edge Punch:  Daisy
X-Cut Punches:  Corner Rounder and Daisy
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Ribbon, Button and Gems from My Crafty Stash Box

.. .. and that is me for today.

Hope you all have a good weekend and find yourself some crafty time (sorry this one isn't a bank holiday weekend .. .. but there is another just around the corner!!  Woo hoo!!).

Take care.

Oh what a lovely card, I'm a dog-woman, but these pussycats are so cute ! And I love the heart-button ! Yes, pushing a wheelchair gives you some insight in humanity ! But I'm so glad, that your mother and you are enjoying the trips, it's good for both of you. You don't have to visit my blog, I absolutely understand, that you are busy. Have a wonderful weekend ! Hi Jules, I love your card, the image is such fun, beautifully coloured and designed.
Good your mum is now getting out and about, and yes I do think that we are living in a very intolerant society these days, sad really, Kate x

An adorable card Jules, such a sweet image - it would certainly make me feel better!
I know what you mean about being out and about with a wheelchair, my mum uses one when we go out for more than very short distances - like you say, it brings out the best in some and the worst in others!
Have a lovely weekend.

Great that your Mum is going out, some people these days don't even say 'Thank you' if you hold the door open for them.
Really lovely card super papers and while the image is really cute and your colouring fabulous, where are their mouths?
Have a lovely week end, we had a couple of really lovely days but these past two days have been bitter again, got heating on tonight and it was Chris that suggested it, so you can tell it must be cold.

Ah! these kitties are wonderful and would cheer up someone who isn't feeling so good. Glad you enjoyed the bit of sunshine and warmth - actually it seems to have turned petty chilly again for some reason. You probably know this but from experience I know that wheelchairs are best pulled rather than pushed if you have to go onto gravel, uneven grass or other difficult surfaces and yes some people are very thoughtless when it comes to wheelchair users

Aww this is so cute Jules, I bought this image last week but haven't had chance to colour it up yet. I have a sister in law who is cat mad she and my brother have 14 of their own and usually numerous foster babies too while they are waiting for new homes so I am always on the lookout for new cat images ;)
I love the way you have used it with that layout.
Hugs Kaz xx
