A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

CHEERS DAD

Hi Everyone

I am nearly back on track .. .. .. in fact I might be ahead of where I usually am at this time of year. Yay!!!

I still have a few special Christmas cards to make but other than that I am well on my way to be being ready for Santa.

But yesterday was Mr Heart's birthday and Christmas went on hold to celebrate his special day.  I do feel sorry that his birthday falls so close to Christmas and try my very best to separate the two.  The mantlepiece is still full of his birthday cards and they will stay there for a little while until I can't hold off from swapping his cards for fairy lights and candles.

This is the card I made for our youngest Son to give him .. .. ..

This used:

Image:  Lili of the Valley:  James the Bear Cheers
Sentiment:  Computer Generated using "Carbon Type"
Backing Paper:  The Lovely Studio black circles printed onto blue card to match James' tie
ProMarkers
Washi Tape
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and that is me for today.

I hope everyone is OK.

Not sure if I should mention the re-arranged Christmas plans or not.  I just feel so sorry for all those people that may have gone out food shopping today to buy supplies for the Christmas they were planning to have when they woke up this morning.

That's one really cute bear - a great idea to match the background to his tie as well, very clever.

A super card for your son to give his Dad Jules, my eldest son's Birthday was on Friday so I know what you mean about trying to separate them, we never put our Christmas tree or decorations up until after Matt's Birthday when he lived at home.

I'm sure Mr Heart loved his card. It was my dad's birthday yesterday too. Just like you we make sure that we celebrate in non-Christmas style, Jo x

You just can not beat LOTv image, they don't age, they don't go out of style. A really super card, great design and colours. Yep pretty close to Christmas but I can beat you on that one, my Hubby's birthday is Christmas Day and he is a twin.

Hi Jules,

James the Bear is my favourite LOTV Bear. So of course a gorgeous card!

My son was supposed to be going to London on Christmas Eve to a wedding!! Then staying overnight and having Christmas dinner there too. As he lives in West Sussex. he can no longer go into London. They was a bit fed up as they hadn't ordered any food for home!

Better safe than sorry.

We have a funny situation with our birthdays, as they are only 3 days apart. So as Rick's is first, his cards go on the fireplace. Then, when mine comes, his cards go on the windowsill and mine on the fireplace!!

Great fun!!
Love and hugs,
Carol xxxx
