My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

JULES' CRAFTY SNIPPET CHALLENGE - WEEK 39

Hi Everyone

Gosh .. .. snippet week no. 39 .. .. that means only another 12 until my year is complete!!

I can't say as I have made much of an impact on my snippet collection yet as I keep making more!!  They are either super fresh snippets added to the collection or just smaller versions of the ones I started with LOL!!!

I am going to have to go some if I don't want to be totally embarrassed when I re-show my snippet collection at the end of my year.

So today this post should be appearing by courtsey of Mr Blogger whilst I am at the wedding fayre with my lovely Sis.

I decided to use up some of the bits and pieces that were all over my desk on Saturday evening as I finished my last wedding stationery sample.  So a world record for me in terms of the speed at which snippets were used.  They existed for less than 24 hours!!  Bet my old snippets are jealous LOL!!!

So here we go .. .. ..

Sorry .. no sideways view of the last one.  It was a naff photo and I just didn't have time to take it again).

Time now to call for the snippet register for last week.  Thank you so much ladies for keeping me company and giving such wonderful inspiration as to what we can all do with our snippets.

First past the post this week was Catherine.  I feel certain that she must have used a mini mountain of snippets over the last few weeks!!   In fact this week Catherine has submitted three gorgeous snippet makes .. .. you will find them here, here and here.  What a treat!!  All three are super gorgeous .. .. not only on the outside but the inside too .. .. but if I had to choose a favourite it would be the second one!!

Craftilicious Tara was next in the playground .. .. with a line of lovely beer mugs!!!  I hope the recipient isn't driving LOL!!  Great use of snippets and a fabulous male card into the bargain.  Thanks for the inspiration Tara.

Lynne was well into Christmas mode and shared two gorgeous Christmas cards with everyone this week.  Such a gorgeous tree stamp on this one and fabulous use of snippets.  I am sure Lynne's Christmas card stocks must be increasing by now!! (as well as her snippet collection decreasing?).

Di was the next to arrive in the playground with a creation and fabby technique that I am desperate to try!! Another gorgeous Christmas card in the snippet playground .. .. and a beautiful and sparkly one at that!!  I feel there will be a few more people giving this technique a try too.  Thanks for sharing Di.

The next playmate to appear was Mandy who was carrying a super card that used the most lovely snippets alongside a really sweet image.  Beautiful colour combo and layout.

Sarah was also in Christmas card mode and was struggling to carry all of her snippet makes .. .. it's a good job she was able to balance one on top of her head LOL!!!  Such beautiful Christmas cards .. .. each one very different but each one lovely and each one using up gorgeous snippets..

Doreen too was in Christmas card mode .. .. and what a beautiful card Doreen shared in the playground.  Gorgeous colours and such a lovely Christmas tree.

Great snippet use was next shown by Elizabeth .. .. fabulous use of colour and yet again a creation that used up so many snippets as Elizabeth always treats each face of her cards to a little snippet or two!!

Then last but by no means least was Carol who found time to make a lovely snippet make whilst at the same time looking after her Mum who has been poorly this week.  I hope your Mum is continuing to improve Carol.  Fabulous colours and layout and a very gorgeous silver pen!!  Mmmm... love that!!!

Not sure what has been happening this week but I know that on at least two entries this week I have left comments but when linking everything up I noticed that my comments weren't there!!  They must be floating round in cyber space somewhere!!  I do hope people don't think I am ignoring the lovely creations that are linked into here.

Sorry I needed to close the gates early again .. .. .. but we are back to normal this week!!

I hope your day has been good.

I will see you tomorrow with one of my favourite Handy Hippo makes yet!!!

Love

Hi Jules, now I'm not a huge fan of pink/blue combos but I thnk your cards are lovely - not too much of either colour and loads of white. Love the embossed roses too. I'm off to an early start this week ... the Mojo has returned and I'm working well again. Hope your weekend was successful ... plenty of orders/sales to keep you busy perhaps. Elizabeth x

I totally love these Jules! Lovely soft colours and beautiful designs as always. When you say another 12 and then your snippet year is complete - I do hope you mean your first snipett year is complete? We'd miss the playground - and might even set up petitions if it was ever under threat of permanent closure.....I could even tie myself to the gates and go on hunger strike :) Love, Di xx
