My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

THE LIGHT BRIGADE

Hi Everyone

I hope your weekend has got off to a good start.

We won't mention last night's football result :-(

Today I have spent a bit of time with my lovely "snowflake bride" and then I continued with my Christmas makes and put one of my Ebay Penny Black wins from last weekend to work .. ..

This used:

Image:  Penny Black"3916K" The Light Brigade
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat  - sadly closing its doors soon :-(
Backing Papers:  DCWV "The Christmas Multi Stack"
Snowflake Die:  A freebie from Quick Cards Magazine last Christmas (given three layers of clear embossing powder and the edges sprinkled with Glamour Dust whilst still warm
ProMarkers
My Trust Sewing Machine
Glossy Accents
Large Pearl from my crafty stash box

and that is it!  The first outing for my new stamp.

Has anyone managed a trip to the NEC?  I was hoping to go this time as I haven't been for at least two years now, but sadly yet again there just wasn't enough time in my little world to escape :-(

Perhaps next time?!?!?!?  We shall see.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.

Love

Hi Jules, love the pink & black backing papers. And you can't go wrong with PB hedgies. Lovely colouring as usual.

Didn't go to NEC. In fact haven't been to any shows for ages. Still, plenty of online orders made instead :-)

Hugs, Pauline xx

A lovely card Jules - I'm sure your new stamp will get used many more times. I've got that snowflake die and must use it with the embossing powder and glamour dust as I love the result.
