A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LONDON SON

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all having a good day.

The weather is nice and bright here so that lifts the spirits doesn't it .. .. .. but today is a special day anyway .. .. .. whatever the weather because it is our eldest son's birthday.  The London Kid!

Earlier this year, before all the madness in the world started, he and his wife adopted two black rescue cats.  I haven't met the cats yet but have seen them plenty on Facetime and heard lots about them.

I have to admit to not being a very big "cat fan" mainly I think due to my auntie's cat using my legs as a scratching post once when I was quite small.  I can remember not being very happy at the time and being wary of cats ever since.

Anyway, I searched Etsy for quite some time to try and find a "cat" image to use for making our birthday card.  There were so many!!

But this one was our favourite and I knew it would go down well in London because as well as loving their cats .. .. .. books are mega important to them too .. .. .. so the image was just perfect.  I love it so much:

This used:

Image:  Via Etsy from EcoCycled "Black Cat on Books"
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Wooden Heart
My Trusty Sewing Machine

It was so easy to put this card together that I felt like I was cheating, but it was just perfect for what we needed.

The download comes in multiple sizes, and can be printed large for framing or going onto a canvas.  That is probably the next thing I will be doing because the London Kids both loved the image as much as we did .. .. .. and when they click on the link and see what else is available they will love lots of the other images too.

So that is me for today.

I will show you the card I made for our youngest son to send tomorrow.  Another download I have fallen in love with!

Until then have a great Sunday everyone.

What a wonde3rful find this image is for the card you wanted to make and not cheating at all that it wasn't a lot of effort to put together. The effort certainly went into the searching and your time has been well rewarded with something which is just perfect for your Son.

I Love this card! So very nicely done!

I like cats...However, I try to stay away if possible. I am very allergic. Which means I can't visit some of my friends houses, Especially my friends who have more than one cat. (I break out in a rash, and my eyes swell shut)
