My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well and staying safe.

It has been a day pretty much full of rain here!

I have been back in "wedding mode" this week and have today delivered a second set of invitations to a couple who unfortunately had to cancel their last wedding.   They have now arranged a "very small" wedding which will hopefully be able to happen .. .. .. and they will then have a "big" celebration on their first wedding anniversary.  I am keeping my fingers tightly crossed  for them.

So with the invitations delivered I finished a card that I had started for taking over to Fezziwig's Festive  Frolics Challenge where Hazel has provided a lovely sketch for us to work with this fortnight.

This is my offering:

This used:

Sentiment:  LOTV Christmas Topper Set
Backing Papers:  Dovecraft "Christmas Basics"
Nestabilities Circle Die
ProMarkers
Nail Heads
Glamour Dust
Gems
Snowflakes from the snowflake die box
My Trusting Sewing Machine

and here is the sketch, which I  rotated by 180 degrees for my card.

I seem to be doing quite well with Christmas cards this month .. .. well over my quota of 5.  Good job really because I still need lots more before December arrives!

Enjoy the rest of your evening and weekend .. .. and don't forget to alter those clocks.

Aww love that image, its totally Christmas. Honestly Jules, your sewing, wow, its so precise especially around the circle and it adds such a personal touch. I like the Argyll patterned panel and you worked the sketch brilliantly.

As you will soon discover, I'm a massive snow and Christmas fan and once I go Christmas I go full throttle Christmas... even the cat doesn't escape without some festive adornment.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend x

Oh, what a lovely Christmas card, such a cute bird ! Yes, we live in terrible times, here in Belgium, the rules are also stricter again, as Corona numbers are getting high... So sad for the wedding couples everywhere. We also have a rainy Autumn, but it gives us time to make more cards ! :) All the best and stay safe ! Enny

What a fantastic card Jules, I love the image. I have to say that I do feel for all these couples who have had big wedding plans, only to see that delayed or cancelled. But a smaller wedding and a big party at a later date seems like a great idea too.
