My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ANOTHER SPECIAL VALENTINE

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.

My day has been spent in Valentine mode .. .. such a difficult theme for me .. .. (NOT!!)  LOL!!!

Here is another special boxed one I have made today and I thought you might like to see this one too.

I decided to try and not go down the normal red route with this one.

This used:

Backing Papers:  Papermania "Rose Garden"  (The tags were part of the stack too)
Embossed Sentiment:  Elusive Iamges
Sizzix Die:  Tattered and "656425" Box and Lid (for Big Shot Pro)
Martha Stewart Corner Punch:  Loop
Silver Embossing Powder
Adirondack Inks:  Pink Sherbert and Cloudy Blue
Lace, Ribbons, Brad, Hearts, Rose and Pearls from the Stash Box

Again there is tissue paper in the box to wrap around the card and tiny little hearts in the base.  LOL!!

I have had a few people asking me about the nail heads I use from Josy Rose and what I attach them with.  Well originally I used to attach them using the glue that is sold on the Josy Rose website .. .. along with the aid of a cocktail stick.

But once I started using them I fell in love and decided that I needed to use the hot fix wand .. .. it makes the job an awful lot quicker.

The reason I am telling you this is because Josy Rose have a sale on at the moment with 20% off everything on their website .. .. yay!!!

To gain this 20% simply enter the following code at checkout (valid until the 31st January 2011).

JANJR11

You can find the Josy Rose website here  -- -- -- I love this website and can drool for hours .. .. .. even when I don't need anything!!  LOL!!!

Right that is me for today.

I am back again tomorrow bright and early as it is my turn to post on the Get Funky! Challenge Blog and I have done a little tutorial for sharing.

I will apologise now because I know I will not get to visit any blogs at all this week (apart from DT challenge entries of course)  .. .. ..  I am up to my neck with a mountain of orders and DT work so I need to be getting on top of all of that.  Sorry :-(

Have a lovely evening everyone.

Love

This card is absolutely gorgeous Jules. I love the soft blues and the gentle sparkle on the flower. I may have to give that a try.

I'm off to make a Sunday card from scraps; will be casing the SCS Featured Stamper. I will try and get it posted tonight. :)
