My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

GOSSAMER

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a good day .. .. .. the weekend is nearly here .. .. .. yay!!!

Don't know about you but it seems to have been a very long week this week!!

Today has been a bit of dashing about out there in the "big outside world" so not too much time spent in the craft pod today!!  Never mind hopefully I will make up for it tomorrow.

Speaking of "tomorrow" .. .. they mentioned the "snow" word again on the radio for tomorrow!!  What's that all about .. .. we don't need any more!!!

My lovely hubby is full of this nasty cold and cough thing that is going round.  I think he realises I don't expect him to share everything because I certainly don't want it.

There was a discussion on the radio as to how people know whether they have actually got a cold or whether it is flu.. .. .. .. .. the explanation as to the difference was .. .. .. if there was a £50 note going free and it was just lying on your lawn -   if you have a cold you would go and pick it up.  If you have flu you just wouldn't care less and just leave it there.

So I thought I would just test hubby (who hadn't heard the radio discussion) and asked him whether he thought he might have "this flu thing that is going round".  He said that he didn't think so (which I must admit did surpise me .. .. he isn't a very brave soldier when it comes to being poorly and I thoroughly expected him to think he did have flu with at least a touch of pneumonia LOL!!).

So, to test him I then asked him what he would do if there was a £50 sitting on the lawn going free and his reply ..........................

wait for it ................................

he would send "me" out to pick it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheeky monkey!!!

Anyway, perhaps you would like to see my favourite creation of the day  .. ..

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3865K" Gossamer
Sentiment:  Elzybells
Backing Papers:  All Aimee Asher
Fiskars Punch:  Threading Water
Koh-I-Noor Blending Pencils
Small Beads and thread from the Stash Box

I did have a close up of the flowers and beads but for some reason it decided to have a yukky cream background instead of the white so I am ditching that one and just posting one photo tonight.  I think you can see them anyway.

Have a great evening and thank you for calling by and if you are looking for the heart Mo .. .. I tried to make it a bit less obvious today.. .. .. just for you.  I know that you like looking for them xx.

Love

Hi Jules. your card is lovely I love that colour combo. I've just got over flu, and if the fifty pound note had been on my bedside table it would've taken several hours to summon up the energy to reach out for it, and it would've taken a back seat to the paracetamol and the neurofen, oh, and the hot water bottle too! The worst of it? I went off chocolate!!!

'Mo' is not the only one - I love looking for the heart on your cards. Found this one fairly easily and the card is lovely. The colours are stunning - I love blue but never seem to make many cards with blue on them - derrh!

He's not daft your other half Jules!!!! Sorry to hear he's under the weather though, there's so much of it about. It always make me laugh when I hear people say they've had the flu so badly they had to go to the doctors, believe me if you've got flu you couldn't get out of bed to get to the doctors, but I think unless you've had real flu you don't realise the difference.
You card is just beautiful, I love the blues and after a bit of peering I found your heart, yaah!!! I always forget to look after enjoying reading your post!!
The snow arrived today, and plenty of it too, it's turned to rain thankfully now so should be gone by morning.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs Lisax
